This week we welcomed Carol and Reed, Lance’s mom and step-dad, as well as Bill Cline and Tiffany O’Meara, their children, Dakota, Kayden and Kaya, and pups Lucy and Tyler (sorry if i spelled anyone’s name wrong! just let me know and i’ll correct). The inn was full!
Lance, Carol, Reed and I spent time hiking,
exploring the Big Burn of 1910,
picking huckleberries, and tubing down Fish Creek. A few hairy moments on the very low creek, but a great time was had by all. The hike was along Cache Creek, which required a walk across on a log:
and we hiked quite a while to find the spot where Leonardo and I fell into a whole patch of huckleberries, but it seems we were a bit late…or early. We picks about a cup or so, and noticed a lot of green berries, so we’ll be back!
Nights were spent playing games:
