What a weekend for me! Matty flew in Thursday night, and Friday we had a grand celebration for Michael’s birthday. Fishing all day and an incredible tortilla bar spread for dinner.
A great way to kick off the weekend!
The boys woke up, ate a big meal, then headed out for two long bouts of fishing. Little Goof showed Big Goof all of his secret and not-so-secret spots. They had great luck and lots of great stories. Late Sunday night, Taylor came in and I had all 3 in for 20 hours. We used the opportunity to go for a float on the river
and do a little fishing. No bites, but (don’t get tired of this) lots of fun. We even managed to get in some beer yoga on the beach
and I set up my own version of Stonehenge:
Matt gave his little sis a bit of a fishing lesson:
while Michael was getting set up along the shore:
Look at this beautiful face!
Matt headed back home that evening, but not before a hot ride around the logging roads on my dirt bike, with Lance alongside on his. I drove him back to the airport while Miss Tay brushed up on her riflery skills:
We were sad to see them go, but even more appreciative that it all worked out!
