Not just the name of the italian restaurant we went to regularly in Virginia Beach when I was growing up, it seems!
Woke up to a rocking boat. We enjoy coffee and a little breakfast, while skipper sleeps in after his long night. About 10 he secures an early spot for us and we head over to the marina, pay and get set up. The group takes 2 taxis up to Anacapri to visit the Axel Muthe home/museum. The good doctor came to Naples from Sweden to help with a cholera epidemic, then he fell in love with Capri and fulfilled his dream of building a home there by purchasing land and then the grounds of an old church. He treated patients there until his death, and treated/enjoyed the company of the Queen of Sweden for over 35 of those years.
Taxi to Il Riccio for a yummy seafood lunch with a killer view overlooking the blue grotto (the island has caves and grottoes ringing the island – a big tourist activity).

Jeff’s selection:
Stacey, mom and Tay headed to the town center of Capri for some power shopping, boys back to the boat and Lance and I walked up steps to the high point of the island, through the authentic town of Anacapri, and then down 980 steps (my knees hated that!)
back to the boat. Good to get some exercise.
Next day we all take the funicular up to Capri and do some shopping and walking around.
Lance, Matt and Michael explore further up and enter a maze of the old, original covered streets, filled with food stores and all the mainstays of a thriving town. When we’re all done, we grab some pizza (mom says it’s the best so far)
and back to the boat to head out to Ischia.
