Mommy dearest!!

After her annual trip to the Firehole Ranch, mom stopped into suwarrow for a few days. First stop from the airport was the Western Montana Fair, where we checked out the crafts, walked by the rides, and sampled the most important wares:

We had a mellow few days, which included a drive up to the secret huckleberry patch, where mom picked about a dozen, then sat in her chair reading while I labored for a couple hours to provide the main ingredient to our huckleberry cobbler dessert the next night. We also headed down Alberton Gorge (which was running pretty low by this time, but still so fun):

some nice walks, enjoying produce from the garden and quiet time. Come again soon, mommy!
