Is not really how I roll…the Schwab conference in Boston was pretty good, but I’ve really outgrown most of it. Heard some interesting ideas on creating a better environment to foster client loyalty, but most interesting was weaving together current web tools to create a whole experience for today’s tech-savvy clients.
But enough of that. Dancing at the gala and after parties and watching the uptight members of the financial industry was even more fun. Luckily I had enough of a crew that I didn’t have to dance alone (at least most of the time).
Condaleeza Rice certainly is smart, and well spoken. The patriotic speech about why we’re the best and strongest country in the world , so who else can/will save humanity from itself; but the Harvard psychologist who wrote “Stumbling onto Happiness” was by far the most thought-provoking speaker, challenging my own beliefs and experiences with reams of data. I love that stuff.
