My lovely Inn near the Burren cancelled my Tuesday stay, so I had a free day. Chose to head to a little town on the outside of Galway (The Guard!!) and was fortunate to have selected an awesome spot. Settled in (not so much to carry without a suitcase!) and walked down to the pier (again, could have been in The Guard!). So beautiful, wild and windy. You can see from the feature photo the tools of the trade are right there. All seafood all the time. Bummer.
