Early flight out and 5 hour layover in the Cebu airport. Contemplated heading out to hang at a resort, but most had suspended day passes for security reasons and the weather wasn’t so inviting. Landed in El Nido at a tiny airport, then negotiated with a trike driver to get to the resort:
which was lovely and quiet, outside of town. Breakfast was served on the front porch every morning:
A walk into the local market required shelter from the storm:
Town was mellow, filled with restaurants and little markets:
out from our resort, walked to dinner at a great little place, and a daytime walk provided much fodder to enjoy my new camera:
Evening brought the orientation from Tao and meeting our fellow sailing mates. Conveniently, their office was right across the street from the resort!
