Joao de Deus

Today I went for my first visit in person to the Casa. I say that because I had already sent down my picture, with my name, birthdate, address and three issues that I wanted the entities to work on. That counts as the first visit, and the person who brought my picture down, a woman from Boulder who was cured of breast cancer after a month-long visit some time back, brought back herbs especially blessed for me. Along with taking a capsule of herbs with each meal daily until they are gone (about 55 days), I also must abstain from drinking alcohol, eating pork or any derivatives thereof, and no pepper or spicy food for the duration of the herbs. Mustn’t interfere with the energy work by the entities.

So, I dressed in all white, as is the protocol, and arrived around 7:45 to wait for the “second time” line to be called. People were milling around, and sitting quietly in the meeting room waiting for their turn. There is a line outside for anyone who needs their wishes to the entities translated:

Marina translated mine, so I didn’t need to avail myself of their services.

Joao came out and spoke to everyone. Marina, my guide, told me that she had never seen him so chatty, as he told stories of his beginnings, his work with individuals from the army and a few more. You can see in the picture a gentleman leaning against the wall with his eyes closed and his hand over his heart; he’s waiting for a physical surgery from the entity. There are also aides holding trays with instruments and blessed water as well as a chair nearby to take the individual to the infirmary to rest after the surgery, or intervention.

Then he incorporated (allowed an entity to enter his body)

and performed visible operations on the two individuals standing on the stage with their eyes closed. There had been a third, but she fainted at one point while he was talking, and he turned around and said that she had been operated on. Anyway, the first individual sat in a chair, put his head back, and Joao used a penknife to scrape his right eye. The man was perfectly calm and had no pain. Next, he put some cotton on the end of what looked like a long, slender pair of scissors, or perhaps a hemostat, and slid it up the gentleman’s nostril and up into his head, turned it around, pulled his head forward and then removed it.

Again, no reaction from the patient. I was feeling kind of faint, so sat down. Marina said it could have been all the energy in the room. He then left for the main room where he receives visitors.

I waited as the first time people went in, and then second time was called. As I waited in line, I thought of the issues for which I wanted healing, and also meditated on my gratitude for all the abundance in my life. I tried to recall the experience when I first arrived, as well as the time many years ago when I experienced a direct connection to the light – the collective consciousness or the energy of greater awareness, whatever that may be for each of us – and I continued breathing deeply and being open to the entities. I walked up and looked directly at him, and he scribbled on a pad of paper and immediately said “operacion.” I then walked with Marina into the side room, where I sat amongst others on a set of wooden pews, closed my eyes along with everyone else, and received a prayer of blessing. We then exited the building and got in line for soup, which is part of the treatment and blessed by the entities.

Standing in line with Marina, I met a gentleman named Lance, who is a neighbor of my partner Ben and had been in Abadania (the town where the Casa is located) for a month. It was a real treat to meet a fellow Boulderite.  We enjoyed our soup:

then I laid in the sun for a bit, then slowly walked back to my pousada. Everything seems to be moving slower down here, and that is so peaceful and relaxing. I am to eat only a light lunch in preparation for my operation. I get that.

Marina will pick me up in her car about 1:30, then head to the Casa. I will wait for operations to be called, usually before the first and second time visitors. I go back to the same room with pews where I received the blessing previously, close my eyes, and place my hand over the area I would like to be treated or over my heart. I will do the latter, as I have no idea where to put my hand for my particular issues. Then some number of entities will operate on one or more places in my body. Then I walk out and get in Marina’s car and she drives me back to the pousada. I am supposed to sleep for 24 hours (now, wouldn’t that be glorious) and my meals will be brought to me. Thursday afternoon I may leave the room, but still take it easy. But I’m getting ahead of myself.

It is likely I will not be reporting to all of you until the weekend. No reading, watching, typing, telephoning, or even music listening is allowed. I need to have all of my energy focused on healing. Those of you who get it, get it. You are all with me in my heart and mind and I appreciate the love you send my way every day.

What an adventure!
